Computer Music Creation and Research Studio

The french SCRIME team conducts research and develops tools in a variety of music-related scientific disciplines, notably computer science and artificial intelligence.

Our research is intended to enrich musical practice at various levels, in particular composition and performance. It is implemented in a variety of settings, including educational activities, mediation events and the production of works by artists.

Artistic creation occupies a central place in our activity, through the tools we develop for a variety of audiences, as well as the organization and support of art and science residencies bringing together artists and scientists from our network.

Our team is located in the LaBRI computer science laboratory in the Bordeaux university.
